![]() ![]() I can't tell you how sick I am of seeing the endless sea of shirtless hunks posing with a wolf on the cover schtick all over the store. It draws the reader's eye, its simplistic, and still gives a hint to what it's about. ![]() And can I just point out the cover art for a second? I absolutely love it. That being said, it's definitely still unique. This book has great character and story development, though I have read books before with similar plots. ![]() It was a wonderful break from some of the other mediocre shifter content out there, and while it does have some sexually explicit content (which was also written quite well), it's not the primary focus which I liked. It fits perfectly with the shifter theme, helps the reader connect to the raw and base emotions the wolves feel, and creates a sense of urgency. The author expertly uses repetition, run-ons, and short staccato like sentences which most authors would avoid like the plague. The style the author used is what made this book. ![]()
